just arrived in Khiva, Uzbekistan. Its an amazing historic walled city. Visiting an orphanage tmrw to donate clothes & toys.

Ferry stopped a mile from Turkmenistan, waiting for port to reopen. 13hr journey has taken 25hrs. could be delayed for another day - sweet! 

left sunny Goreme today, drove east through the snow capped mountains. Up early tomorrow to try and make it to Tblisi.

have just arrived in Göreme, its stunning - google it. Checked in to a cave hostel, our room is thousands of years old. Georgia next stop...

spent our rest day in Istanbul. Visited the famous Blue Mosque, grand bazaar & sampled authentic Turkish kebab's. Setting off again tomorrow.

Drove all yesterday. Went through Serbia, stopped in Bulgarian capitol Sophia. Just crossed the turkish border, on the road to Istanbul now.

spent sat night in budapest, lovely city. This am crossed into serbia. landscape changed immediately. Heading for belgrade tonight

Driving on to Budapest for tonight to the sounds of Austro FM 103.2! Hope to make it for a good early evening meal featuring  beer & dumplings

went to nurbergring yest. Was a great experience, didn't race el guapo tho. Did 717 miles to austria, which is stunning. No rozzers yet

Well it's been a long old day, leaving Cardiff at 5am and finally arrived in Arques 1am local time.
